House Hold Economic Strengthening Piglets Project (HESP)
Starting House Hold Economic Strengthening Piglets Project (HESP)
This project came after successful implementation of the poultry project 12 beneficiaries whom we start with were able to bring back one back and that one given to another 12 beneficial and in one year we had covered 36 beneficiaries from poultry project.
The first beneficiaries for the chicken project.
After the research was conducted it was discovered that profit the piglets can give to the houses hold is more than poultry.
Then we decided to sample first with three piglets to three house hold to strengthen on their income with the aim of that the beneficiaries bring back one piglet to be given to another houses hold after it has produced.
As results on 29th April 2021 we had to kick start the HESP project with a help from the Executive Director Mr. Kayondo James who sponsored the sampling of the piglets to identified groups of youth families in Fort-portal City.
